ZeptoPhysics provides explainers and calculators for learning and exploration. Calculators use simplified, idealised models whose assumptions are listed beside each tool. Results are estimates and are not a substitute for professional engineering, safety, medical or research analysis.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. We work to keep it accurate but make no guarantee that content is complete, current or error-free, and we are not liable for decisions made using it.

Laser and sensor safety

Nothing on this site is guidance for operating lasers, high-voltage equipment, magnets or other hazardous apparatus. Follow your institution’s safety rules.
